Overview:
SELYEK is our smart bluetooth, industrial-grade, keyless battery-powered padlock designed to work in harsh environments. The lock is tamper resistant, with an optional tamper monitoring feature. It works with industrial grade credential technology to protect it.
SELYEK SECURITY PLATFORM:
Overview:
The AVL Reader provides real-time monitoring of locks, seals, data tags and other edge devices installed on the trucks, containers, barges and other ships and vehicles. The AVL Reader works in combination with external communications modem and a GPS Reciaver to deliver real-time status updates of the cargo.

The Data Seal is a component
Overview:
The Compact Reader is a component of Hi-G-Tek’s wireless monitoring system. The Hi-G-Tek system uses intelligent RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) wireless technology and hardware to provide automatic processing and real-time monitoring of cargo or assets whether in transit or in storage. The system uses information provided from hardware to provide users real-time actionable information through a web-based software platform.
The Compact Reader utilizes full 2 way communication with Hi-G-Tek seals over a high-frequency RF channel. It can respond to messages received from Hi-G-Tek electronic seals or it can execute commands designed to retrieve the statuses of Hi-G-Tek electronic seals it can read. The Compact Reader can also write information to Hi-G-Tek electronic seals. Each Compact Reader can communicate with numerous Hi-G-Tek electronic seals simultaneously over a full 2-way wireless communication channel. All of the data received and processed by the Compact Reader is transferred to the Hi-G-Tek software platform, Enterprise Services Platform (ESP) over a wireline or wireless (cellular/satellite) connection. ESP level, processes and displays the data as per user specifications. Data can also be shared with third party applications through an open API if required.
In case of a wired connection, Hi-G-Tek’s Compact Reader is powered using an external PSC unit (See photo on the right). The PSC unit can be connected to a regular AC power source. It is also connected using an RS-232 cable to a controlling computer with internet for sending data to the ESP. The Compact Reader is connected to the PSC unit through an RS 485 cable that provides power and data connectivity. All data from the Compact Reader flows to the PSC unit from where it is sent via the RS 232 connection and server to the ESP. Each PSC unit can be connected to up to two Compact Readers. And each Compact Reader can in turn be connected to more Compact Readers, in a chain setup. In a system where a large area with multiple sectors needs to be covered, multiple Compact Readers connected to each other over a wired connection can be used. The group of readers can easily monitor cargo inside a warehouse, yard or port. Using an isolated RS-485 interface, multiple readers can be easily networked together into a single controlling computer. If a wireless communication method is being used between Compact Readers and ESP, then there is no requirement of a PSC unit. AC power is directly connected to the Compact Reader which communicates with the ESP using a cellular/satellite channel.
Overview:
The Hi-G-Lock is a portable, reusable, wireless electronic sealing and sensing device that provides robust physical security as well as automatic processing and real-time monitoring of secured cargo both in transit and in storage.
The Hi-G-Lock uses Highly Intelligent RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) wireless technology- and includes a transmitter/ receiver unit, read/write capability, real-time clock, memory and patented sensing circuitry for sealing verification.
The physical protection provided by the Hi-G-Lock is equivalent to that of a security bolt seal. Encrypted and embedded sensors prevent any attempt at opening, bypassing, or tampering with the Hi-G-Lock. The system detects any such attempt, records the event, and sends an alert as needed. At the core of every Hi-G-Tek device is the patented and trademarked “DataLock™” sensing system.
The Hi-G-Lock is powered by an internal battery which uses patented energy management technology to provide years of maintenance free operations.
In low-frequency short-range mode, the Hi-G-Lock logs and communicates data through a handheld data terminal and can also be inspected and/or set by a small key-fob unit called the MicroReader. The Hi-G-Lock can store customer specific information electronically in memory. The information can include vehicle ID, container and invoice numbers, cargo descriptions, quantities and destinations.
The high frequency long-range mode provides full two-way read/write data communication capabilities at a distance of 100+ meters with fixed or mobile readers. The Hi-G-Lock transmits the information in reply to an interrogation by the Hi-G-Tek DataReader or when it detects an unauthorized event. Many Hi-G-Tek devices such as Hi-G-Locks, Hi-G-Tags and Hi-G-Seals, can be monitored simultaneously by one DataReader.
This long-range capability makes the Hi-G-Lock ideal for protecting, tracking, sealing, and verifying of assets such as containers, fuel and rail tankers.
Successful monitoring can also include stationary objects such as ingress/egress portals, yard/gate management systems, refineries, fuel depots, and finally, pump and tank delivery systems at gas/petrol stations.

Overview:
The Hi-G-Tek MONIT MPL-04 Padlock is based on an Abloy 341 padlock body and we have added our own designed shackle with electronics. The MPL-04 is an on-line system and the only padlock on the market with built in sensors, so it can indicate in real time when the padlock is opened, locked, shackle cut, tampered or being removed from a site.
It is an on-line system battery powered and the MPL-04 padlocks communicates with a local Gateway, which transfers all the data back to a server. Depending of application, 500 MPL-04 padlocks can be connected to the Gateway within 100 to 400 meters.
The MONIT management software is set to control if a certain lock is supposed to be opened at a certain time and direct where all type of alarms / status reports are sent. It also has validation if padlock is opened in the right geographical co-ordinates.
